PostSubject: Performances I Love   Sat Oct 06, 2007 9:30 pm

1) Memorable Ex. for me is: Katarina Witt's '88 'Love Story'
From the opening pose of her tying her skate lace, to the 1/2 way mark when she bows & acknowleges the audience, then the moment when she picks up some of the ice caressing it & then as she skates off looking back longingly at the ice.
To me the program confirms Katarina's love for the sport of figure skating that she often expressed verbally.
I loved her for loving figure skating & then showing it in such a program.
Always makes me happy. Smile
(My thanks & kudos to lissa81 who posted this on youtube).

2) I couldn't resist posting this performance from '99 Sk. Can. Ex. of Takeshi Honda.
To me this whole performance is 'uniquely' Takeshi.
I was there in the front row to see it live.
All his movements in this performance (dare I say it) makes me 'uniquely' horny everytime I see it.
My favorite performance of his.
And no I wasn't the one who gave him the 'unique' gift at the end.
Very Happy But I sure wish I'd thought of it. Laughing

3) Fumie Suguri 2006 Skate Canada free program Victoria B.C.
Because I like her & her skating & this performance in particular.
Plus that's me giving her a little polar bear as a gift at the boards.
(I'd like here to say A special thank you & give credit to Flutz2508 for originally posting this on youtube).

4) Mao Asada - 2005 Junior Worlds FS. Love her & this performance.
(1st time I saw Mao skate live).

5) Yu-Na Kim 2005 Jr.World Ex. Love her & this song.
The two of them together just takes my breath away.
(1st time seeing Yu-na live also).

Well so far those are my Top 5 picks. Hope to add others later.

If you can read this - thank a teacher.
Defender of Mao's costumes.

I loved Joannie Rochette Free Skate Program at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games, it was the best I've ever seen her skate.

PS: Happy Thanks Giving!! Rock on Rockstar

PSS: Bring out the turkey lol!

Skating, skating all day long, skating, skating all night long! May seem tiring to some people but not me, it's my life!!
