| Favourite moves to do: spreadeagle, the attitude spin, any jumps I can manage , russian split, the catchfoot spiral Favourite moves to watch: depending on the skater Mao: arabesque , Biellman, head-to-foot Biellman, 3A, 3F-3L, 3L, spreadeagle, cross-foot twizzle Nobu: 3A-3T-3L, 3Lz, all the jumps really , spirals, spins (especially pancake, corkscrew, low sit, twist sit, wrap-around and layback), back slide split, Ina Bauer Generally I love well executed jumps, good edgework (including steps, Ina Bauers, spirals, spreaeagles, edge control on landing), and all those moves that have roots in ballet (arabesques, Russian splits and other similar transitions). |

| to do: When I was skating, I loved to do spiral sequence and spins esp. layback and camel. Whenever I did camel, I somehow often thought of an airplane
to watch: I love watching spiral sequences (esp. done by Mai, Mao, Carolina Kostner, Shizuka), spread eagle (esp. Jeff's), simple layback spin (esp. love the leg positions of Sarah Hughes, Miki Ando, and Midori Ito), and just simple skating strokes (esp. Jeff, Maxim Stavisky, Mao, Shizuka, many other ice dancers). |

| Everyone pretty much hit the nail here, but here's one that hasn't been mentioned that I will LOVE to see more in competitive programs: Hydroblading! Taka-chan had it way back in his Junior programs and I will be a very happy camper if it made its way back into his programs...Tim Goebel had great ones as well, back when he was competitive Spread eagles are always great to watch, of course, but hydroblading is so rare to see these days in competition (it is, after all, not as versatile as a regular bauer or SE and is more or less a "highlight" of a move like Shizuka's layback Ina Bauer were in her programs)... I unfortunately can't even do a 3-jump on the ice. Basic crossovers and that's it! I would love to pursue skating on a regular basis, but SanFran isn't exactly the most blessed of locations in terms of rinks... _________________ "She's like...a souffle on the ice." -Dick Button ☆ Mao-chan Supporter ★ ~真央ちゃん頑張れぇ~ ☆

| Oh, i like all, but here are my favorites:
Jump:
double axel
Spin:
Strech Spin (esp. the one Yuna often do at the end of her programs) Bielmann Spin, if the skater is very flexible, like Sasha or Mao
Spiral:
Ina Bauer and Y-Position like Shizuka always do
Sadly, im a very unsporty and unflexible girl, but i can do the Ina Bauer on and off the ice *lol* I want to learn to rotate and also would like to stretch my leg til my head, like in an Y-Position^^ |

| I'm not a figure skater , so I can't do anything What moves I like to watch: 1.spins: Bielmann spins ( Mao's and Irina's I love the most!) I-spins( but I should say Sasha's I-spin, no one come close to her position) laybacks ( Carolina's pearl is outstanding!) And I like Yuna's camel jumps: quads and 3 axels, other jumps look not so exciting! and I like pairs side by side jumps! footwork: From ladies only Mao's, from mens Plushy, Daisuke, Lesha and Evan's . Spirals: Everything that Sasha and Mao do! Also I like Mirai's bielmann and Caroline's arabesque spiral. |

Oops typo! I meant Toe Loop. I always add any single I can manage after my 3Sal-2Lutz combos, It usually comes out as a Toe Loop. My coach taught me it when I ws 10 1/2 ( 1/2 a year after I landed my first triple). My mom doesn't allow me to post photos or videos on the internet so sorry, there aren't any.
BTW love your Mao Fansite |
