Mao Asada, through her management agency called "IMG," tried to hire/steal Yuna Kim's coach Brian Orser during the World Figure Skating Championship in March 2010.

Coach Orser declined the offer naturally, emphasizing Yuna was his number one priority then and in the near future.

The story was verified by Coach Orser himself on April 24, 2010 during an interview with a reporter.

Mao probably wants to look like Yuna, to skate like Yuna and to win an Olympic gold medal like Yuna in 2014. Which skater or a girl would not?

But, Mao, have you no ego? You must believe “the end justifies the means.” Shame on you, Mao. You are neither a professional nor a fair human being.

Moreover, earlier this year, Mao has requested ISU, whose sponsors are mostly Japanese, to increase the basic points for 3A. If ISU confirms Mao’s request (Many experts believe ISU will reject Mao’s request), Mao will receive 7 more points per 3A.

That means when Mao does three 3A with no downgrades, she could possibly receive 21 more points. Mao is the only skater who does 3A today.

As an analogy, how fair would it be if a teacher gave only one student extra points for those test questions she answered correctly?

Is this how Mao wants to break Yuna Kim’s (South Korea) world records and keep Mirai Nagasu (USA) and Rachael Flatt (USA) at bay?
Worl

Didn't Mao look great on the first place of that World Podium?
She is getting used to that podium, isn't she? geek

CONGRATULATIONS, MAO for your new Guinness Book World Record!

Indeed, what an accomplishment--- deceiving (or influencing) the judges at the Olympics that your 3A were perfect. You did not convince me and many others.

Yuna Kim has at least 5 world records listed in Guinness Book World Record, and she did not even request to be listed (SP, FS, Total Points, etc.)

A friend of mine once requested to be listed in Guinness Book World

Record for chewing on the largest number of live cockroaches in one minute.

I recall the number was around 150. I had to help him collect the cockroaches.
