Thank you , kirakira for the links! This show seems to be so much fun; might become my favourite one among all the shows Mao is in. Razz Pleasantly surprised that Mai, Taka-chan and Honda-san are all in it as well. Looking forward to see the full version on 27th!

I agree! I don't understand too! But it seems funny. Smile And thanks kirakira for the links as always!
Taka-chan is like a prince Mao is a princess of course Many Hearts and Mai is looking so calm. Btw does anyone know the meaning for the word Mao is often repeating something like "kohai" ... (at least it seems this pronunciation to me...) Is it "scared"?

Yes, Mao said 'kowai' which means she's scared. She's afraid of the guys in the black suits. Laugh

The program is a game combined with hide-and-seek and tag. The guys in the black suits are 'it'. 19 players including Mao, Mai, Takahiko and Honda have to keep on running away from them. The longer they aren't caught, the more prize money they will earn. If they manage to stay free until the end, they will win 1,080,000yen. But they will be given tasks every now and then, so they can't just stay put and hide in one place forever. The atomosphere of the whole set is being based on classic Japan around the Heian period, and many characters from Japanese folk tales are walking around all the time. The tasks will be something like find a certain character...so everyone will have to search and hide at the same time. Btw, if players get caught before the game is over, I think they are disqualified and get no money at all. I'm not sure...I've only seen this program once before.

But I noticed that Mai said in one of the clips that if she wins the prize money, she'd like to use it for a family vacation in Hawaii or Okinawa...and since I heard that they have been to Hawaii recently, maybe it means Mao or Mai won????? Question

As we all know, there has been a lot said regarding the 3A proposal, which has been passed. Smile I would like to share some opinions from long-time figure skating fans regarding the issue.

http://tony-wheeler.blogspot.com/2010/06/op-ed-ladies-triple-axel-debate-and-mao.html

It's nice to hear that general FS fans (i.e. those that doesn't seem to have a strong preference for either Yuna or Mao) support the rule change and believe that this can help push the sport forward. flower

Right now it's about 16:30 in Japan. No news yet?! I'm so impatient! Razz

This night I made a dream where I could see Mao skating her new short program to some spanish music. She wore a white dress (a little like the one from SSOI's opening) and a red flower in her hair, she was executing a spectacular circular step sequence where she put her heart on a sleeve. It was full of emotion and gave me chills!
It's just a simple dream but it looked so real to me. I'm still in shock! Unconscious

I'm so impatient too!!! I keep refreshing the news sites and this page like crazy, but I think I have to go to bed now... Sweatdrop

Yunamao, your dream totally made me think of this:
http://www.nytimes.com/imagepages/2009/01/14/arts/kirovready.html

That would be totally cool for Mao to skate to "Don Quixote"!! flower

And yes mingming I didn't know what was real and thought that I already knew the programs. So when I came here and saw there was no info yet made me a little confused!pale
But now I'm sure it will be soon! cheers

Thanks kirakira, so it's really Liebesträume! I didn't know the real title and since there's a film named "Dream of love" I thought it was it.
I'm glad she choosed a tango for SP! What a great change!! Very Happy

another article (almost same)
http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/winter/skate/figure/headlines/20100620-00000041-kyodo_sp-spo.html

Rough Translations
Mao Asada, silver medalist of Vancouver Olympics came back from Canada, where she had been to make a new program, had a press conference at Narita Airport and announced she has started training with Hiroshi Nagakubo, who taught Shizuka Arakawa since this month. But he is just a jumping coach, new coach is not decided yet.
As for the musics for next season, SP is Tango by Schnittke, FP is Liebesträume by Liszt. (YAY!Love Hearts )
About FP by Lori Nichol, she said "There is a moving like thinking about someone. I can trace myself in it."
She will challenge a difficult SP includes single3A and 3-3.
cheers cheers cheers
There is no news about EX. Please correct me if my translation has problems!
