hahaha, lovely! That's our Mao! Many Hearts

I've just read a Japanese translation of a report at the airport which was posted on a Chinese Mao fan forum. It was hilarious. I hope someone translates it from Chinese to English.

Someone said that Mao prepared two dresses for the tango program, one is the red and black one for Por una Cabeza, the other is an orange one. Mao didn't know which one she should wear for the show and asked opinions from volunteers. And they all preferred the red and black one. don't know which one Mao would choose eventually.
All volunteers said Mao is really nice and has good manner sunny

I think this is a fan-video from the press conference. At around 7:00, a Japanese journalist asked Plushenko about his opinion on Mao. He said,"Mao is a genius. For me, she is No.1 in the world." Someone from the press conference said that Yagudin said"I think so". But I didn't hear it from the video...

p.s. The translators there really didn't do a good job. What a pity:-(

Love the music! Smile
I wish the part used during the combo spin was used for the footwork, though! Razz It's my favorite part! Laugh

I think it's still a work in progress - it looked to me like there were 4 jump passes there, no flying spin and no spiral (I know there's no need for one in the SP now, but I sort of hope Mao will put an arabesque or Y-spiral in!) and I couldn't see the pattern of the footwork (silly camera switched to showing us the ceiling lights at the most inappropriate moment Sad ). Is it going to be a straight-line one? It seemed to me like Mao reached the end of the rink very quickly and then camera stopped showing her. When the camera switched on Mao again, she was continuing in slightly different direction, but ran out of rinkspace again and just skated over to where her layback was supposed to be.

Holy extension on Y-spin and Biellman!!! WOW! And the back position on the layback is just Yikes!!!
Although I prefer the arm position from the recent Worlds or Worlds 2008, I hope Mao goes back to them during the GP series flower

I agree with you. That part suits footwork better.

Me too, but then I thought maybe he/she simply got distracted by something. Smile I'm happy we got to see at least this little bit!

It looks like the first jump pass will be 3A, and the jump out of steps = 3F. So the combo will be either 3L-2L or 3L-3L..? And the first pass = 3A, 2nd = combo, 3rd = 3F out of steps..?
But it looks like there's another jump planned before the flying spin..?
Or maybe that's just a temporary layout for the show... Smile

You're right, I'm too harsh. It's better then nothing! cheers I'm so in love with music! It's soft and dramatic at the same time! And I love the ending, Mao's back is Shocked She's not human!

It looked like she went half the ice on one foot (STUPID CAMERA MAN) which means she is probably going for a level four, and is more likely to get it !!!

Thank you soooo much for the link tianrushui! Many Hearts

This is really getting so exciting! I can't believe we'll be able to see the new SP so soon! Boogie
The music is brilliant! I already want a CD.
I've actually been looking forward to this SP rather than the FP concerning next season, from the first time I listened to this music. Love Hearts
Has any other skater ever used it, btw?
I hope not, so this can become something like Mao's original music sort of.

And come on! I have no idea why he or she decided to shoot the ceiling, but if it weren't for this camera-person, we couldn't have seen any of it. Let's forgive! Too sweet!
