Finally found an article:
http://sankei.jp.msn.com/sports/other/101225/oth1012251920016-n1.htm

It appears Mao's 3A was deemed fully rotated (but with negative GoE due to the botched landing). It was the 3Lo that received the UR call.

And Sato-sensei let her do it. flower

Thank you so much for the interview, linglang. If you have free time, could you please also kindly translate the interview of Oda and Yuzuru?

I really feel sad for Dai. Sad

Best luck for Mao today cheers

Here you are, afsfan!

Interview after Mensí SP, not LP!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj1v9oDacD4

Oda
Interviewer: You looked mortified.
Nobu: WellÖ I was really confident (to land 4T) but I couldnít deliver it at competition. Iím mortified. Even though I landed them at practice, itís not good. I fell my first jump and I think it affected me mentally, and it also affected the step sequence. I will make sure to land quad tomorrow and deliver a good performance. Thatís what I have to do. I will land quad for sure.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXws1m16ztw&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

Hanyu
Interviewer: How do you feel your performance today?
Yuzuru: I think it was far better than before in this season -- spins, steps and of course jumps were good. Iím satisfied very much. Because I competed as a senior athlete, not a junior, I felt a different kind of pressure. I think I was able to overcame it and give a good performance.
Interviewer: You are now leading the game.
Yuzuru: Iíll not think about placement for free program and I will bring out my best to finish it with a smile like today.

It is reported by Daisuke's coach Utako Sensei that Daisuke is suffering from injury from his collision with Taka during GPF. Bawling Hope he gets better by worlds. Worship Worship

It's very unfortunate accident. Utako Sensei said if she can turn back time before GPF practice.
Also it was reported Taka cried his eyes out at the back room after watching Dai's performance at GPF. I hope Dai will get better soon.

I admire Dai for not complaining to Taka and not using that collision as excuse. I think that's why Utako Sensei revealed it to the media.

I saw on TV tonight that Dai held out his hand to Taka in congratulations when Taka became a new champion. Utako Sensei shook his hand with smile too. They are such a class act.

Weeee!! I'm so happy to know that Mao-chan did very well on her SP! It was more than what I expected, but of course, this girl is full of surprises! Smile

Now I can't wait to see her LP improve in this rate as well, if not more!! Smile

What I really love about these skaters is that they're really a mature bunch from most out there.

Above anything else, I think that their bottom line is to really just hone a breed of skaters who can represent their country well. And I just love how they support each other and positively push each other to improve and improve and improve. Smile

Oh, my heart.... honestly, in a sport that's about the individual competing instead of a team, it is so refreshing and heartwarming to see the Japanese skaters reach out to each other and feel for each other... they are all so classy. Mushy Love

Mao's Sp is not a typical tango latin or whatever program, you should consider that it is a soundtrack to a Soviet movie"Agonia". Tat was making a program with taking it in her mind(she watched this movie for sure).
